Kindergarten Readiness

Jaedyn (Ms. Brandt)

Hi! I have been working with young children (newborn to age 8) regularly for the last seven years and I have loved every moment of it!  I have especially enjoyed having the opportunity to work in the Kindergarten Readiness classroom for four years. I love building relationships with these precious little ones and watching them grow and develop over the year to reach their full potential!  When I’m not teaching I enjoy photography, crafting, spending time with the children I love, and creating new materials for the classroom.  A Bible verse that holds a lot of meaning to me is 1 Peter 1:17-19 – “Conduct yourselves with fear (reverence)…knowing that you were RANSOMED…not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST.”

Music Class

Pr. Gayle (Mrs. Ferderer)

I have been doing Music classes at Maranatha for about 18 years.  I feel music is this incredible gift from God.  It speaks to our hearts and is one of the tools we use to speak to Him.  I love introducing kids to basic music theory and to some of the various genres of music.  I love doing programs with them and watching them take the stage (some afraid, some not so much) and pushing through the nervousness – one of many early steps in self-confidence.   Here at church I am officially the Kids’ Administrative Pastor.  I also lead worship in our elementary services every Sunday and Wednesday and direct a Christmas musical for Kindergarten through 6th grade.  My “hobbies” these days are spending time with my grandkids and going to as many baseball, softball, soccer, football, and basketball games as I can.  My favorite Bible verse is Psalm 46:10 – “Be still and know that I am God.”
