Taking the life of every man very seriously, Pastor Mike strives to help men be free by showing them who they really are in Christ. We believe that a man CAN have fun and walk in the truth at the same time. Men have the freedom to be men at Maranatha!

We have several ministries that are geared just for men. Get involved today! Here is a list of ministries that you can get involved in here at Maranatha.

The Hang Around– Guys, looking for somewhere to hang out? Stop at The Shop on Thursday nights! Dinner is at 6 p.m. Come by for food or just to hang around.

Man Church – Who? Men. When? Second Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (Coffee’s on at 7:00 a.m.!) Enjoy great food, Worship, teachings, and a testimony on how God is working in a man’s life! Where? at the Forest Lake Campus.

Men’s Bible Studies:
– Sunday Morning 8:00 a.m. with Greg Martz, ongoing, room 170 Topic: Deuteronomy
– Men’s Bible Study: 6:30-8:00 p.m., ongoing, room 170, Topic: Old Testament
– Friday Morning Bible study and breakfast with Pastor Mike 7:00-8:00 a.m., ongoing, auditorium, Topic: Romans
– Encore Seniors (50+) Bible Study: with Pastor Sue Werneke meets Friday mornings from 10:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. in room 171. We are studying the book of Nehemiah.

Men’s Wild Game Dinner: For 35 years, our game dinner has fed hundreds of men each year with awesome wild game from around the country and beyond, venison, bear, elk, wild boar, turkey, alligator, walleye, salmon, you name it, we’ve probably cooked it.

• • Open to all men ages 12 and up. Join us on Friday, January 17, 2025 and hang out with other sportsmen, eat a delicious meal, enter to win in our gun game, hear from our guest speaker, and of course Pastor Mike Haseltine.
  • Expo doors open at 4:00 pm and the event will run until approximately 9:30pm.
  • Tickets limited to 500.  Tickets go on sale early October. Get your tickets early to secure your seat! 
  • Other than hearing from great speakers and eating a hearty meal, additional evening activities include:
    • Certified Scoring (bring your rack to have it measured)
    • Door prizes
    • Gun Giveaway
  • Expo opens at 4:00pm hunting and related vendors will be located in the lobby, selling merchandise and demonstrating their products.
